My story

I began learning mantras and the vidhi of pooja as a child, sitting beside my elders at family ceremonies. Later I studied Karmakand and Sanskrit formally, so that what I do is based on the shastras and not only on habit.

For more than 15 years I have been going to people’s homes, shops, offices, temples and Ganga-side venues to perform poojas. I have conducted housewarmings, weddings, Satyanarayan Katha, Rudrabhishek, graha shanti, ancestor rites and the sanskaars of many children. Every family is different, and I try to respect the customs of each one.

I explain each step of the ceremony in simple words so that the family understands what is being offered and why. A pooja should be something you take part in with your heart, not just watch.
